This area, renowned for its ecological significance, lies between the Central Volcanic Range and the Talamanca Range. However, the Jaguar Passage faces significant challenges due to habitat fragmentation and loss within the biological corridor, primarily driven by human activities such as deforestation and infrastructure development.
