Diverse Custodianship for Conservation

  • La Diabla (Conservation Project)

This is a land in transition, situated in the vicinity of La Quebrada Moncha, a migratory route for jaguars. Formerly used for cattle grazing, this area is now being transformed into privately owned conservation areas that support “El Paso del Jaguar”.

  • Madero Negro (Sustainable forest & wood mgmt.)

Various transition zones exist within this project. We are converting former plantation farms into forests, implementing sustainable harvesting cycles for planted trees, and introducing native species to enhance the ecosystem.

  • Humedales Lancaster (Wetlands Protected Area)

This area encompasses two protected lagoons designated as wetlands in 1994. It comprises patches of both primary and secondary forest. Additionally, there are ongoing ecological restoration efforts to transition areas from timber plantations to forests.
